BLP is the vision of Randy and Anne Everson, who together spent 24 years on active duty in the U.S. Army, with the final nine years assigned at Fort Hood, and have lived in the local area for 23 years. It is through their experiences while re-locating as a military family of five, with pets, that they saw a growing need for temporary lodging.  In addition to active duty military personnel and their families, BLP also serves retirees and civilians with similar lodging needs.

BLP began operations in summer 2004 with one, four-plex apartment and added a second four-plex in December, 2004.  BLP networks with other small businesses in the area which offer similar services. If BLP cannot accommodate a request, the customer will be referred to another service.  Our goal is to ensure each lodging request is satisfied within the resources available in this area.
